Our App

The Acquerino Cantagallo Association is proud and enthusiastic to present an idea that has become reality: the Acquerino Cantagallo App.

The App was initially created to introduce the “Giro dei 5 Rifugi”. The intent was to bring together the 5 refuges of the municipality of Cantagallo in a single route: Rifugio Pacini, Cascina di Spedaletto, Cascina Vespaio, Cascina Le Barbe and Cascina Le Cave. At the same time, we wanted to create an itinerary within the Acquerino Cantagallo Nature Reserve that was as complete as possible and reached the main points of interest of the Reserve.

The initiative was a great success and many people downloaded the App and tried the route. Many of you have given us confirmation of the impression we had in experimenting and “testing” the itinerary on foot, that is, of the great value of this route which allows you to discover countless points of interest in the Reserve.

From this starting point we decided to further develop the App to give you more. We wanted to offer you other unique itineraries, routes that combine history and nature through the typical elements of our territory. And so the two tracks “Giro dei Castagneti” and “Anello del Cigno Bianco” were born, which will respectively lead you to discover the history of the chestnut and the crystal clear waters of the Carigiola stream.

The Acquerino Cantagallo App is available free of charge for iOS and Android. All route data is inserted into the App, therefore it will always be functional, even without Internet coverage. In addition to the tracks, in the app you will find other useful information, such as the list of the main facilities where you can stay and eat in the surroundings of the Reserve. You will also have the opportunity to contact one of our guides to organize an excursion, or contact us directly for any information you need.
